At GlobalTutor, we strive to provide a reliable and transparent platform for tutors and learners to connect. Our refund policy is designed to ensure fairness and clarity for tutors while maintaining the quality of services offered. Please read this policy carefully, as it applies exclusively to tutors using the platform.


1. Applicability

  • The refund policy is applicable only to the payments made by tutors to GlobalTutor for registration, subscription, or other platform-related fees.
  • Payments made by learners to tutors for tutoring services are outside the scope of this policy, as GlobalTutor does not handle these transactions.

2. Non-Refundable Services

  • Registration Fees: Any one-time registration fee paid by tutors is non-refundable.
  • Subscription Fees: Subscriptions or platform usage fees paid by tutors are non-refundable once the services have been activated.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds for tutors will be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Service Not Activated: If the platform services are not activated within seven (7) days of payment due to technical or administrative delays from our side.
  • Duplicate Payment: In cases where a tutor has accidentally made duplicate payments for the same service.

4. Refund Process

  • Tutors must submit a refund request via email to support@globaltutor.com, providing the payment receipt and a clear explanation of the issue.
  • All refund requests will be reviewed, and eligibility will be determined within seven (7) working days of the request.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within ten (10) working days after approval.

5. Exclusions

  • Refund requests for dissatisfaction with services already rendered (e.g., poor engagement with learners, lack of inquiries) will not be entertained, as the platform merely facilitates connections.
  • Refunds will not be processed if the tutor violates GlobalTutor's Terms and Conditions or Tutor Hiring Policy.

6. Final Decision

All refund decisions made by GlobalTutor are final and binding.
